Cynthia Michelle Abbott

Cynthia Michelle Abbott, age 61, of Smyrna, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025. A longtime resident of Cobb County, Cynthia was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, before making Georgia her home.

Cynthia was a familiar and friendly face in the community, dedicating 25 years of service to Publix Grocery Stores in both Vinings and Smyrna. Known for her kind heart and love for animals, she found great joy in the company of her many cats and dogs, especially her beloved companions, Mr. Waggles and Bella.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Butler; five siblings: Greg (Cindy Lee) Abbott of Kennesaw, Tammy Morrical of Dallas, Scottie (Deborah) Abbott of Douglasville, Tanya (Tony) Sherman of Douglasville, and Catherine Abbott of Douglasville. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
