Clifford R. "Bobby" Yaun

Clifford R. "Bobby" Yaun, age 75, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Monday, September 2, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Sean Durity officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.

Born in Williston, FL, Mr. Yaun moved to Cobb County in 1978 from Dallas, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served 4 years during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, he worked as a Repairman at Sears, retiring after over 30 years of employment. He then worked for Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for 10 years. Mr. Yaun was a faithful follower of Jesus. He was a longtime member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Marietta where he served as a Deacon and sang in the choir. He also enjoyed painting, gardening, and building projects around his house.

Survivors include: Wife of 56 years, Betty J. "Susie" Yaun; 2 Daughters, Melanie Y. (Sean) Durity, Kennesaw, GA, and Stacy (Marty) Aldridge, Stafford, VA; 3 Brothers, Jimmy Yaun, Cartersville, GA, Jerry (Pam) Yaun, Marietta, GA, and Harry (Kathy) Yaun, Woodstock, GA; 7 Grandchildren, Haleigh, Wesley, Sara, Noah, Aidan, Gwendolyn, and Lincoln.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
