Mr. Charles Dewayne Norman, age 56, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
Born in Dalton, GA, Dewayne spent most of his life in Cobb and Paulding Counties before settling in Cartersville in 2025. After graduating high school, he began a long and dedicated career with Chuck Clancy Ford, where he worked in various roles within the Parts Department for 28 years.
Dewayne shared a deep and joyful life with his late wife, Kim. Together, they loved attending concerts, visiting friends and family, and traveling whenever they could. Whether riding their motorcycle or taking road trips in their Jeep, they embraced every adventure side by side. Dewayne was also a passionate motorsports enthusiast and an avid NASCAR fan. At home, he could often be found cheering on the Braves, the Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs, or relaxing with music.
He is survived by his brother, Richard (Kathy) Norman of Dallas, GA; brother‑in‑law, Jamey (Bobbie) Marler; nephews, David Gray, Wesley Norman, and Colin Marler; and nieces, Crystal Gray and Emma Harting.
