Charles King

Charles King, age 86, passed away on January 20, 2026. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years Iris B King and brother Larry W. King.

Charles was born in Cincinnati, OH to Charles King and Jewell King. Charles remarried Kae King of Marietta, Georgia in 2014. He was baptized at Grandview SDA Church in Austell, Georgia where he was Head Deacon for 15 plus years. He was also a member of Calhoun SDA Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, was a retired Engineer, loved photography and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include wife of 12 years Kae King; son Charles E. King, Jr,; daughter Tamra J. King-Nappi; three grandchildren, Kristen L. King, Nathan King and Joshua (Hailey) Brackenridge; six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sebastian, Noland, Declan, Juniper and Tobias; sister, Charlene Wallace and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friend Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
