In Loving Memory of Bryan Austin Maddox
Born: April 30, 1995 – Died: September 8, 2026
Bryan Austin Maddox, age 31, of Cobb County, passed away on September 8, 2026.
Austin was a one-of-a-kind person whose presence could light up any room. He had a naturally charming personality, a quick sense of humor, and a gift for making people laugh with his jokes and playful spirit. Lively, loving, and full of energy, he could easily become the life of the party when surrounded by the people he cared about.
Austin was incredibly talented, especially when it came to art. He had a gift for drawing and could bring his imagination to life through his work. He also loved skateboarding and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He never hesitated to help his family whenever he could, and those who knew him best understood how much love he carried in his heart.
Austin’s journey through life was not always easy. There were times when he felt lost and struggled to find his way. Although life did not always provide the opportunities or second chances he hoped for, that never diminished the love he had for his family. He cared deeply for those closest to him, especially his daughter, Aleayah, and wanted more than anything to do his best for her. His love for her will forever remain an important part of his story.
Austin had so much love to give, even when he did not always know how to express it. Beneath his humor, talent, and lively personality was a deeply caring person who wanted the people around him to be okay. His life, his struggles, his laughter, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Austin is survived by his beloved daughter, Aleayah Maddox; his mother, Lori Caylor; his siblings, Breanna Sumner, and Brandon Sumner; his niece, Mia; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dustin Sumner, and his grandma.
Though Austin’s life was far too short, the memories he left behind will never be forgotten. His artwork, laughter, jokes, adventurous spirit, and love for his family will live on through everyone who knew him.
Rest peacefully, Austin. You were loved more than you knew, and you will be missed more than words can say.
