Beverly Joan Copeland

Beverly Joan Copeland of Marietta died Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell, GA, where she was a member of the choir.  Joan loved to sing and travel, as well as spend time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gladys May; father and step-mother, Harvey F. and Sara Tweedy; husband, Jack L. Copeland; daughter, Jeni Greenway; grandson, Justin Copeland; sisters, Sara Tweedy and Nancy Brown.

She is survived by her son, Scott Copeland; son-in-law, Daniel Greenway; sister, Barbara Hildebrand; grandchildren: Shannon (Sam) Chimento, Amy (Matt) Cannon, Ashley (Sam) Navarro, Jordan Copeland, Lauren (Clint) Smith, and Dylan Copeland; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, at West Cobb Funeral Home, with visitation at 1 pm, and a service at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.  She will be interred at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
