Bertha Gonzalez

Bertha Gonzalez passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at the age of 66. Born February 9, 1960, she grew up in Cuernavaca, Mexico, the daughter of Felix Roman and Rafaela Almazan.

Raised in a humble, rural community alongside her ten siblings, Bertha learned the importance of hard work, family, and kindness at an early age. She began working in her youth to help provide for her family and siblings. Later, after meeting her husband, she continued working wherever she could to support him while he pursued his education

Bertha dedicated her life to her family and helping others. As a loving mother and babysitter, she cared for countless children, sharing her warmth and affection with everyone around her. She was a devoted member of Aguas Vivas Church and found joy in nature, family gatherings, and spending time with her two beloved grandchildren.

Known for her selfless heart, Bertha always gave to others, even when she had little herself. She was a source of comfort, love, and encouragement to all who knew her.

Bertha is survived by her loving husband, Sergio Gonzalez Garza; her son, Sergio Natanael Gonzalez; her daughter, Yelipza Gonzalez; and her two cherished grandchildren.

A burial honoring Bertha’s life will be held Friday, October 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens, 581 Veterans Memorial Highway Southeast, Mableton, Georgia 30126.
