Bernadette Merced

Bernadette Merced peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother of twelve, and adored great-grandmother of one. Throughout her life, Bernadette embodied grace and kindness. Known affectionately as Ms. Bernadette in her communities, she was an easy-to-talk-to, trusted listener whose lady-like elegance left a lasting impression on all who met her.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Rolando (Roly), with whom she shared a wonderful 49 years of marriage, and her five children—Jennifer, Claudette, John-Paul, Nicole, and Mark—each continuing to carry forward her tradition of compassion and warmth. Bernadette’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her family; as a preschool teacher, she dedicated herself to guiding young minds, and her genuine care transformed the lives of countless students, helping shape them into better people.

Though her absence leaves an immense void, Bernadette’s enduring legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest peacefully in heaven, surrounded by the love she so freely shared, and forever remain in our memories.
