Barbara Martin

Mrs. Barbara Jean Martin, age 84, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.

Born in Chattanooga, TN, Mrs. Martin had lived in Cobb County for most of her life. She retired after a 40 year career at Lockheed as a Senior Program Analyst. She also enjoyed painting, reading, and watching television. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Martin, Sr., in 2014, and a son, John Martin.

She is survived by a son, Edwin S. "Eddie" Martin, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Power Springs, GA; 6 Grandchildren, Scott (Stephanie), Ryan (Marybeth), Brett (Fiancé Kasey), Patrick, McClaine, and Daniel; 3 Great Grandchildren, Madden, Marlo, and Myla.
