Audrey Sprague Tarvin

Audrey Sprague Tarvin, age 92, of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 22, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held at 12PM on Monday, April 27, 2026 in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Afterwards, her ashes will be interred at 2PM at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends from 11AM to 12PM prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

A native of Fort Fairfield, Maine, Mrs. Tarvin moved to Atlanta in 1953, and then to Marietta in 1968. She worked as an adjuster with Hanover Insurance Company in Atlanta for ten years. She was a member of East Cobb United Methodist Church for many years. Mrs. Tarvin enjoyed many activities including quilting, knitting, gardening, canning and freezing her homegrown vegetables, and singing in a choir. Mrs. Tarvin was a master organizer and known for her fun sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tarvin, and daughter, Rhonda Tarvin Murrah.

She is survived by daughter, Beth Tarvin, Marietta and son, Charles "Chuck" (Pat) Tarvin, Kadies, KY; three siblings, Gordon (Solonge) Sprague, Cynthia (Gerald) Beaulieu, and Jack (Michelle) Sprague; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
