Angela Faye Young

Angela Faye Young, age 70, our beloved mother and wife of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away September 6, 2024 after a prolonged illness. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Steve Jones, Rev. Alton Williams and Rev. Harold Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow at North East Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in, Marietta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents William Jack Little and Reba Baswell, William (Bill) Baswell and sister Rene Little.

Faye enjoyed being involved in her church Bethlehem Baptist along side of her husband Pastor Tommy Young for 30 years. Faye loved spending time with her beloved husband of 52 years and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Survivors include: her husband of 52 years: Tommy Young, two daughters: Shawnta (Brian) Acree and Amanda Young; six grandchildren: Allie (Kyle) Fugatt, Erin (Dakota) Poor, Blake Woods, Logan Woods, Jordyn Woods and Nathan Woods and five great-grandchildren; sister: Brenda Baxter and brother: Joseph "Joey" (Diane) Little; step-brother: William "Bill Jr." (Kathy) Baswell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
