Ameen “Buck” Dahdah, aged 72, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on April 13, 2024. He came into this world on February 16, 1952 in Waterbury, Connecticut, the fourth of eight children.
Ameen was an artisan by trade, and amateur gardener, musician, artist, and devotee of Krishna. As a master carpenter with exacting standards, he was known for the exceptional quality of his fine woodwork, which can be found all over the southeast. He enjoyed following the family tradition of gardening and was always happy to share his bounty with friends and family. Ameen delighted in playing much of the classic rock and blues he loved on his Washburn guitar. Books of sketches show hours of careful pencilwork displaying his artistic vision on paper. He found solace in the teachings of Prabhupada Swami, joining the Hare Krishna movement in the mid ’70s and continued that spiritual journey for the rest of his life.
Mr. Dahdah was preceded in death by his son Joseph, and is survived by his loving daughter, Amoreena, and his cherished grandsons, Indiana and Oliver. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on May 11 at 9:30AM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064.
