Zora Perkins

Mrs. Zora Perkins, age 79, of Kennesaw, GA passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 10am Tuesday, September 6th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor T.P. Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Born in Jellico, TN, Mrs. Perkins was raised in Mud Creek, KY where she graduated from Pleasant View High School. She married James and moved to Cobb County 50 years ago. She worked as a Licensed Practicing Nurse for Kennestone Hospital for over 16 years. She was also a longtime member of Roswell Street Baptist Church, and a current member of Calvary Baptist Church in Smyrna. Mrs. Perkins enjoyed serving as a caregiver, and volunteering at the Crisis Pregnancy Center, shut-in ministries and Campers on Mission.

5 Great Grandchildren: Afton Adams, Chloe Adams, Hazel Adams, Emma Loudermilk and Lydia Loudermilk
