William Ray Brown, age 78, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, January 18, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta with Dr. David Campbell officiating.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Brown was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. He owned and operated Allied Electric since 1980. He was also a longtime member of Due West United Methodist Church and the IBEW, and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Linda Brown; 2 Sons, Sandy (Kayla) Brown, Marietta, GA and Rusty (Jackee) Brown, Powder Springs, GA; 2 Brothers, George Brown and Jackie Brown, both of Marietta, GA; 8 Grandchildren, Madison, Abby, Ally, Abilee, Jillian, Reagan, Braxton and Bryce.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William Brown's memory to Calvary Children's Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
