Vernard Marvin Dutton, age 84, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge, GA. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna.
Vernard was born in Atlanta, GA on October 12, 1936. He retired from Atlanta Iron Workers Local # 387. He was a devoted son and uncle, and was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Dutton, his mother, Inez Dutton, and his brother, William "Bill" Dutton.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vernard Dutton's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital @ www.stjude.org .
