Travis Brooks

Travis Readling Brooks, age 32, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on August 10, 2021. Travis was born on July 8, 1989 and lived the majority of his life at his mother's home in Marietta, Georgia. He was diagnosed with autism at an early age. He lived for several years at Stewart Home School in Frankfort, KY which serves individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Although he was unable to communicate verbally, Travis showed his caring and kindhearted nature as he loved to hug and hold hands with everyone. He enjoyed the outdoors, long rides in cars, music and videos. Travis also loved food and had a voracious appetite which he was well known for. He is survived by his mother: Sharon Readling Brooks of Marietta, GA; his father: Bill Brooks (Vickie) of Marietta, Georgia; his brother: Adam Brooks of Dallas, GA, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Fred and Martha Readling; and his paternal grandparents: Howard and Sarah Brooks. A private Memorial Service with family will be held at a later date.
