Thomas "Tom" Howard Steele

Thomas (Tom) Howard Steele, age 68, of Kennesaw, Georgia went home to heaven on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born on February 10, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Annie Lee Steele and James Leighton Steele. He was raised by his late grandparents, Tom and Undine Smith. He retired from the Smyrna Police Department as Lieutenant of Jail Operations in 2017. He loved muscle cars, fishing and music and was an avid piano player.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Shelby Steele; half brother: David Howard; brother in law: Aubrey Turner; nephew: Steve and Christina Turner; great nephew and niece: Steve Turner Jr and Deborah Turner; niece: Casey and Michael Spradlin; great niece: Gracie Turner; brother in law: Eddy Turner; nephew: Eric Turner; brother in law: Billy and Terri Turner; brother in law: Randall Turner; sister in law: Wanda Gaines; nephew: Justin Gaines; sister in law: Susan and Mark Littleton; best friend: Randy Black, and beloved cat: Skittles.
