April 29, 1926 — February 6, 2016

Thomas E. Scogin, age 89, of Kennesaw, GA passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Born in Alabama, Mr. Scogin lived most of his life in Cobb County. He retired from the National Parks Service as a Maintenance Supervisor, and was a member of Lost Mountain Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard “Ricky” Scogin.

Thomas Scogin, Jr., Pisgah, AL
4 Siblings: Lorena Weaver, Nell Hinneman, Nita Ward and Joyce Denny
7 Grandchildren: Kimberly Cannon, Denise Scogin, Chip Scogin, Crystal Scogin, Lora Scogin, Marci McDougald and Natalie Lynn Scogin
7 Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Parker, Jayde, Hailey, Ireland, Peyton and Tara
1 Great-Great Grandchild: Silas
