Thomas Knight

Thomas Allen Knight, age 67, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021. A Celebration of his Life will take place at his residence, starting at 2pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mr. Knight lived most of his life in the Atlanta area, and the last 7 years in Powder Springs. He worked his entire life baking and became a Master Pastry Chef. He retired from Publix after 18 years of employment to pursue a dream of running his own Bakery. Mr. Knight also enjoyed singing in various rock bands and playing golf. He was a longtime member of the Rotary Club, and was a devoted family man to his wife, children and grandchildren, and was lovingly known to them as Paw Paw.

Survivors include: Wife of 8 years, Michelle Elaine Knight; 2 Children, Michelle Loy and Jeremy Knight; 3 Step Children, Taylor Meyn, Spencer Meyn and Lagan Meyn; 3 Brothers, Curtis W. Knight, Jr., David Knight and Ted Knight; 7 Grandchildren, Matthew Loy II, Caleb Knight, Austin Loy, Arian Knight, Presley Knight, Miriam Meyn and Charlotte Meyn.
