Susan Martin Hardison

SUSAN M. HARDISON, 88, peacefully passed away on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at home, near Phoenix, Arizona. Susan was born in Canton, and moved with her family to Marietta at a young age. She later married, then worked for Retail Credit in Atlanta, before employment at Lockheed, where she was instrumental in the development and implementation of Lockheed's affirmative action program in the early 1960s. She then lived in the Southwest before retiring in the Phoenix area in 1991. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. Susan is survived by one son, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter in California, and by cousins, nieces and nephews around the country.
