Steve Post

Steven John Post, age 53, of Marietta, Georgia passed away September 27, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Open Bible Tabernacle on Austell Road in Marietta with Dr. Dan Parker and Rev. Scotty Davis officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Steve graduated from Osborne High School in 1986, then attended and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He worked as a Barber with his father at Jimmy's Pat Mell Barber Shop for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Post, and a brother, Mark Post.

Survivors include: 2 Sons, Justin Lee (Morgan) Post, Marietta, GA and Jon Post, Marietta, GA; Father, Jimmy Post, Marietta, GA; Sister, Deborah (Michael) Arnold, South Carolina;l Brother, Gary Post, Marietta, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Rylee and Jaxson Post, Marietta, GA.
