Shirley Ann Grizzle

Shirley Ann Grizzle, 75, of Acworth passed away August 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Sunday August 14, 2011 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Acworth with Rev. Danny Willis officiating. Interment will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mrs. Grizzle was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wheeler and Ollie Mae Mulkey; Husband, Billy Grizzle; Grandson, Trent Kirkpatrick; and Brother, Donald Mulkey. Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Grizzle, Cartersville; Donna Smith, Acworth; Son, Brad Grizzle, Cartersville; Sisters, Helen Higgins, Betty Grizzle, Joan Parks, and Oneida James, all of Acworth; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and great-nieces and great-nephews. Nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until service time at the church.
