Sara Ellen Hiers, age 78, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away October 10, 2021. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Aragon Cemetery in Aragon, GA.
Sara was born on April 12, 1943 to Clara James Dean and Hiram W. Owens of Aragon, GA. She loved to travel, gardening, reading and spending time family and friends. She has spent most of her life in Smyrna, GA.
Survivors include: husband of 33 years Leroy Hiers of Smyrna, GA; two sons: Kevin Hiers of Lawrenceville, GA and Bryan Voyles of Smyrna, GA; one granddaughter: Amanda Voyles and partner Dalton Heath; two nieces: Shay (Robert) Langston and Gina (Kevin) Miller and several cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sara Hiers's memory to Calvary Children's Home at www.calvarykids.org or your favorite charity.
