Roy Lee Brown, 87, of Atlanta, passed away July 11, 2013.
He served during WWII in the Pacific on the USS Mertz.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Stone and son, Tim Brown of Marietta; sister, Faye Jackson of Cornelia; brother, Harvey Brown of Dawsonville; two grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and interment will be held at 10am on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
He was loved by all.
