Roy W. Barnes, age 81, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Hiram First Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Holcomb officiating.
Born in Canton, GA, Mr. Barnes lived most of his life in Cobb County. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He owned and operated Barnes Termite and Pest Control Company for over 40 years. Mr. Barnes loved playing golf, and was a member of the Foxy Golfers Club.
Survivors include: Wife of 61 years, Jimmie Lee Barnes; 2 Sons, Greg (Angel) Barnes, Marietta, GA and Scott (Anna) Barnes, Marietta, GA; 2 Brothers, Paul (Michelle) Barnes, Marietta, GA and Mike Barnes; Granddaughter, Tori Barnes, and several honorary grandchildren.
