Robert Charters Lyon

Robert Charters “Bobby” Lyon, age 72, of Marietta, GA passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011. Memorial Services will be held 2pm on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony.



Mr. Lyon grew up in Livingston, Alabama before moving to Cobb County, GA over 40 years ago. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech, and worked as an electrical engineer for Lockheed for 30 years before retiring.



Survivors include:



Wife: Linda Fleming Lyon, Dallas, GA



2 Daughters: Beth Lyon, Smyrna, GA

Laura Lyon, Marietta, GA



Brother: Richard J. Lyon, Lexington, KY
