Richard Warren Pair

Richard Warren Pair, age 72, of Dallas, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. He will lie in state from 1:00 pm until the service. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. Born in Atlanta, Mr. Pair was a graduate of Brown High School. He was a resident of Cobb County for over 25 years before moving to Dallas. Mr. Pair was a real estate appraiser and was a member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers and was formerly a Mason. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rue Nell Pair; children, Darlene Creech and husband, Larry of Dallas, Vicki Barrs and husband, Jeff of Hiram and Alan Pair and wife, Kim of Kennesaw; sisters, Hazel Lewis of Woodstock and Linda Tollison of Macon; grandchildren, Matthew Creech, Kathy Morgan and husband, Andrew, Justin Collis, Kristin Chalker, Luke Pair, Victoria Pair and Ashley Pair and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to VistaCare Hospice, www.vistacare.com .
