Richard Alan Knapp “Happy”, age 72, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2015. The family will receive friends at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta on Monday, April 27 from 5 pm until 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held during the visitation with Chaplain Ron Daniel officiating.
Richard “Happy” moved to Georgia from Yonkers, NY. He was married to his loving wife of 17 years, Kathy Knapp. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include: His two daughters by marriage: Misty Spencer of Waleska, GA and Jessica Martinez, of Powder Springs, GA; sons-in-law: Sandy Spencer and Toby Martinez; his five grandchildren: Preston, Chandler, and Autumn Spencer of Waleska, GA; Bryson Duff Martinez and Blakley Martinez of Powder Springs, GA and one surviving brother: Bobby Knapp of New York and many nieces and nephews.
