Richard "Daniel" Alvarez, age 76, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. The family will be holding a private celebration of life to honor his memory.
Daniel was born in Starke, FL on March 9th, 1945. He was a graduate of Bradford High School, class of 1963. Daniel spent most of his life in Cobb County, GA where he worked in construction for 30 years prior to his retirement. Daniel loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and especially his wife. He enjoyed fishing, time at the beach, and going on cruises. Daniel was known for talking to everyone who came in his path, creating unforgettable memories and making you laugh by just being himself.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Marilou Alvarez; Children Jeff (Tammy) Miner, Heather (Bob) Jacobson, Jason (Brandi) Alvarez, Randy Miner; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; Siblings Owen (Julia) Alvarez, Roman (Betty) Alvarez, Pat (Jerry) Baldwin and several nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Kathleen Alvarez, and 4 siblings
