Relus Anthony Phillips

Relus Anthony (Pappy) Phillips, age 93, of Marietta, Ga passed away on February 16, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Cheatham Hills Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. Phillips moved to Georgia in 1947, and has resided in Marietta for the last 47 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He married Mattie Frances Phillips of Dickson, TN in 1947 and is survived by daughter, Mildred P. Hallman (Jim), and son Anthony Phillips (Holly) and grandson Brandon Grisham.
During his retirement years Mr. Phillips has enjoyed the company of many friends at the American Legion in Austell, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the American Legion Post 216, 3914 Ewing Rd., Austell, GA 30106.
