Ralph Boyd Murray

Ralph Boyd Murray, age 65, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012. There will be a celebration of Ralph's life here in Georgia at a later date to be determined. A memorial service will also be held in North Carolina; the family will provide additional details. Born in Durham, NC, Mr. Murray had lived in Marietta for the past 38 years. He worked in sales and marketing with IBM for 17 years and was also a decorated Veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Linda Murray; children, Stacey M. Pelfrey and husband, Terry of Cartersville and Shannon Murray and wife, Christy of Smyrna; mother, Doris Murray of Durham, NC; sister, Becky Murray of Creedmore, NC and 7 grandchildren.
