Patricia C. O'Neill

Patricia Campion O'Neill, age 85, passed away January 24th, 2019 as a result of long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Funeral services will be held at 10:15 on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in East Islip, NY, with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram,NY. A reception will be held from 1pm-4 pm at The Irish Coffee Pub, 131 Carleton Ave. in East Islip, NY.

Mrs. O'Neill was born March 10, 1933 to the late Helen and Francis Campion in Central Islip, NY. She was preceded by the love of her life, husband, Frederick P. O'Neill Jr. of 60 years and her beloved son, Daryll Francis. She is survived by her sister, Margret LaSorte; sons Gregory (Ellen), Randall (Cindy), Terrance (Anne), daughter, Carolyn Bright (Steve); grandchildren, Drew, Mark, Andrew, Caitlin, Cara, Aileen, Colin, Meghan, Kaila, Shannon, Ryan, Connor, Emma and many loving nieces and nephews.

Pat had her BS Degree in Nursing and Masters of Science from Adelphi University, NY. Throughout the years she excelled in various nursing careers. She retired as a professor of Nursing from Stoney Brook University, NY. Her love and passion was taking care of others.
