Ora Ella Reese Lister

Ora Ella Reese Lister, age 84, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Pastor Ricky Gray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Lister moved from Jackson, MS three years ago to be closer to her family. She was a graduate of Howard College and a homemaker. She was a member of Broadmoore Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Lister in 2008 and sister, Mary McIver.
Survivors include 3 children: William R. Lister, Marietta, GA; John M. Lister, Corsicana, TX and Mary (Gena) G.A. Lister Castilla, Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren: Heather E.R. Lister Simoneau, Marietta, GA, Catherine Megan Lister Swartzlander, Marietta, GA, William Bradford Lister, Marietta, GA, Forrest Wilson Pace III, Houston, TX and 2 great-grandchildren: Calie Alexis Swartzlander and Cara Emily Swartzlander.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts at www.atlantabsa.org .
