Mischell Keller

March 29, 1957 — September 25, 2022

Mischell Lawrence Keller, age 65, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 with her loved ones by her side. A celebration of life will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1 at 4 pm, with visitation beforehand from 2-4 pm. Mischell was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Campbell Lawrence Jr and Marie Cote Lawrence, brother Robert Lawrence III, and brother-in-law Richard Born. She is survived by her son Mathew Jared Keller (Anna), sisters Jeannine Lawrence, Sheryl Born, and brother Kurt Lawrence (Laurie), nieces and nephews Stacey Rhodes (Shane), Evan Born, Kimberly Barnes (Andrew), Sara Lawrence, and Casey Lawrence; and great-niece Sage Rhodes, and great-nephew Tate Barnes.

Mischell lived in Powder Springs, GA where she raised a wonderful son, Mathew. She worked for Graphic Solutions Group and loved her job as a Senior Production Coordinator. She was a hard worker who made sure to acknowledge everyone, truly appreciated their contributions, and considered them as her second family. Mischell was a member of McEachern Methodist Church and her faith in God remained strong through the end. She attended a weekly Bible study with a group of women who became her dear friends. Family was everything to Mischell and she loved her siblings and their kids dearly. She welcomed Anna's family, The Clarks, with open arms and so loved being part of their activities. She was fiercely strong and independent yet always put her family and friends first. Mischell loved to travel and had many favorite destinations, but the two most special were St. Simons Island and Lake Burton where she especially loved to take Mathew and family.

Mischell was a 1975 graduate of Towers High School and attended DeKalb Community College. She was active and played fast-pitch softball as a child and then slow pitch as an adult. These teammates became her lifelong dear friends. She was thankful for the support from the Keller family and her childhood best friend Jody who stuck with her to the end. It was easy to love Mischell. She lived a life filled with love, compassion, and laughter. The family thanks all who helped in her personal care, with meals, caring for the house, gifts, cards, and so many other outpourings of love.

In her memory, flowers can be sent to West Cobb Funeral Home. Or if you prefer, donations may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation (glioblastomafoundation.org < https://glioblastomafoundation.org >).
