Mary Louise Allred

Mary Louise Allred, age 91, of Marietta, Georgia passed away December 18, 2018. Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, January 7, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. She was preceded in death by her husband James Newton Allred, infant daughter Joann Christine Allred and parents Ruby Blance Thompson and John Preston Spegal.

Mrs. Allred was born in Michigan, and lived most of her life in San Diego, CA after living various places with her husband in the Navy. The last four years she lived in Marietta to be closer to her daughters. She was a member of Grove Fellowship Baptist Church in San Diego where she taught Sunday School for 35 years. She was a navy wife and a retired Secretary from the Department of Defense. She loved playing bridge, gardening, swimming, reading, traveling and was a devoted wife and mother.

Survivors include: two daughters: Nancy J. Tullis and Carole Ann Morin; sister: Josephine Elliston; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends after the Memorial Service at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
