Marina C. Fitzsimmons, age 81, of Powder Springs, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 21, 2013, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park. Following the interment, the family will be having a reception at the American Legion Post 294 in Powder Springs.
Survivors include her children, Ruth (Michael) Turick of Dallas, Richard (Sandra) Fitzsimmons of Germantown, TN and David (Deborah) Fitzsimmons of Mebane, NC; sister, Maruja Perez of Barcelona, Spain; nephew, Jordi Perez; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 5pm-8pm.
Donations can be made to the ASPCA.
