Malcolm Gordon Bateman

Malcolm Gordon Bateman, age 77, of Smyrna passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12 from 11 am until 12 noon at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta.

Mr. Bateman was born in Georgia. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Wyoming. After leaving the Air Force, he worked for the State of Wyoming painting highways. He moved back to Georgia approximately 25 years ago. He was a member of the American Legion and liked to work on projects around the house with his son and grandson. He loved western movies.
