Leslie Jean Brown, age 63 of Bronx, NY received her angel wings on February 1, 2015. Going Home Ceremony will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Rd, Marietta. The viewing for Leslie Brown will be in the state of GA at the West Cobb funeral Home and Crematory from 12 pm until the service hour.

Leslie Brown’s best friend and husband Joseph A. Brown was called home December 6, 2000. She leaves beautiful memories to be cherished by her two daughters, Asha and Nzinga, four sons Alpha, Cinque', Malik and Wale'; six grandchildren, Tusajigwe’, Jaedon, Nasir, Essian, Heiress and Ariella; five siblings Robert, Steven, Shawn, Sharon and Khadijah; an uncle, Roy Tucker, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and everyone she knew and loved dearly.

Leslie was a beautiful soul who nurtured and protected all who entered her life. She was truly a village leader and protector. She gave us all such courage, hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. Her gentle smile, strong laugh, soft skin brought so much joy to her family she enjoyed shopping for food because she enjoyed feeding whomever was hungry, gathering with friends and family, cooking, eating, music, dancing, singing and most of all laughing. She touched many hearts and those who loved her will cherish her memory always.
