Lee Franklyn Mitchell

Lee Franklyn Mitchell, age 80, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016. The family will receive friends and celebrate his life from 3pm until 5pm on Sunday, November 6th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Born in Covington, VA, Mr. Mitchell lived in Atlanta for many years before moving to Powder Springs. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, and worked as a purchasing agent at Bankhead Enterprises for several years. He also enjoyed working as a painter and a handyman his entire life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anita Hudson Mitchell, and is survived by 4 children, Karen M. (Manuel) Waters, Powder Springs, GA, Keith (Renee) Mitchell, Hiram, GA, Lisa (Andy) Turner, Villa Rica, GA and Bill Mitchell, Powder Springs, GA; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
