Lavern Kerlin

Mr. Lavern Etsel Kerlin, age 90, of Conyers, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Dawn Memorial Park in Decatur with Rev. Keith Collins officiating.

Born in Buford, GA, Mr. Kerlin lived in Conyers for most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He retired from Kroger after 43 years of employment, and also worked for Superior Foods for 18 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: Grandchildren, Darryl (Deedra) Kerlin, Hiram, GA, Michelle (Russell) Milstead, Athens, GA and Matthew Kerlin, Milledgeville, GA; Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kaylee Poore, Teagan and Baylee Kerlin and Destiny Butler.
