Julia Kate Sapp

Julia Kate Pouncy Sapp, age 74, of Marietta, Georgia passed away May 21, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA. Interment will follow at Marietta City Cemetery in Marietta, GA.

Julia was a native of Michigan and lived most of her life in Marietta, GA. She was a member of Macland Baptist Church where she was involved with the Good Timers and the WMU. She retired from the State of Georgia as a teacher. She loved gardening, knitting, travel and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include: husband of 37 years David M. Sapp, Sr. of Marietta, GA; three sons: Michael Bertrand of Georgia, James Bertrand of South Carolina and David O. Bertrand of Texas; step child: David M. Sapp, Jr of Georgia; five grandchildren: Tiffany Fisher, Christine Sapp, Jessica Fisher, Kylia Sapp and Kimberly Donelly; nine great-grandchildren; brother: Bill Pouncy of Alabama.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA.
