Joseph George Dan

Mr. Joseph George Dan, 81, of Douglasville, GA, passed away August 28, 2022. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, to George and Eloise Dan. Joe graduated Philo High School in Philo, Ohio and then joined the Air Force in 1958, proudly serving our country for 4 years. After the Air Force, Joe worked as a certified refrigeration mechanic and later became a commercial programmer for channel 57 in Atlanta. Joe met the love of his life, Gladys Wade, whom he married in 1970 and together they were blessed with three sons. When Joe wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with family and his church. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother George.
Joe is survived by his wife Gladys; his sons, Bobby, Michael, and JC Dan as well as 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
