John Joseph Carlin
October 28, 1945 — April 15, 2020
John (Jack) Joseph Carlin (74) passed peacefully at his home on the evening of April 15th, 2020 in the presence of his wife and eldest son. Jack was a loving family man who enjoyed spending his time cheering for his grandchildren at their various sporting and extracurricular events. He retired from Bell South in 2001 after 37 years. At the time of his retirement, he was a state-wide Supervisor of the electronic switching system. He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan, and enjoyed Saltwater fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Karol DeLancey Carlin, his children John Carlin and his wife Carolyn, Stephen Carlin, and his loving Grandchildren Chase, Kaitlyn, Connor, and Avery, his brothers Michael Carlin and wife Jan, Jim Carlin and wife Kelly, and sister Janie Maloney and husband Rob. He was preceded in death by his father John Joseph Carlin and mother Ann Carlin.
Private services and celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
