Jodine Kathryn Poole, age 76, of Powder Springs passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta.
Mrs. Poole was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Cobb County over 30 years ago. She was a Teacher at Cumberland Christian Academy for 26 years, and a member of Midway Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Poole and is survived by her children: Dawn (Kevin) Elliott of Powder Springs, Kerry Poole of Powder Springs, Eric Poole of Powder Springs and Scott Poole of Acworth; sister, Shirley Beadle of Traverse City, MI, brother, Glen Miller of San Jose, CA and sister, Cheryl Miller of Milpitas, CA; 4 grandchildren: Kevin Crouse, Lindsey Crouse, Preston Poole and Ashton Poole and great grandchild, Michael Lipham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Poole’s memory to Hands of Hope, www.hohafrica.org , which is an organization lead by her brother, Glen Miller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Online Guestbook at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
