Jean C. Sinyard, age 92, of Acworth, Georgia passed away May 22, 2020. Private Funeral Service will be held at Mt Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton, GA on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Mableton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Edward Sinyard, brother David Carter, sisters Vivian Carter Keith and Lois Carter Hunt.
Mrs. Sinyard was a native of Gwinnett County, GA, living in Pelham, GA before moving to Cobb County, GA over seventy years ago. She was a member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton, GA.
Survivors include: three children: Edward (Pam) Sinyard of Cumming, GA, Elaine (Charles) Mahaffey of Clayton, NC and Eric (Lisa) Sinyard of Acworth, GA; three grandchildren: Austin Mahaffey of Austin, TX, Allison Mahaffey of Clayton, NC and David (Heather) Sinyard of Sugar Hill, GA; two great-grandchildren: Audrey Sinyard and Luke Sinyard; sister-in-law Cora Carter of Tucker, GA and several nieces and nephews.
