James Gregory “Greg” Marler, age 57, of Marietta, GA passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, October 30th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Alan Thames officiating.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Marler was a graduate of Wheeler High School. He retired from the City of Marietta’s Electrical Department after 31 years of employment, and for the last 7 years has worked for MEAG Power Company as a Safety and Training Officer
Survivors include:
Wife: Gwen Marler
2 Children: Brandon and Whitney Marler
Parents: Earl and Lois Marler, Marietta, GA
5 Siblings: Mike Marler, Richard Marler, Rob Marler, Teresa Cuba and Doug Marler, all of Marietta, GA
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
