Dr. James L. Daley Sr.

Dr. James L. Daley, age 81, of Hiram, Georgia went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 19, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Justin Hayles and Rev. Snyder Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, Georgia.

Born in Oklahoma, Dr. Daley lived in Indonesia for 42 years before moving to Hiram, GA in 2012. He received his Doctorate of Theologies from Emanuel Baptist Bible College and Luther Rice Seminary. He was a lifelong Missionary and had a tremendous passion for teaching the Bible, serving in Indonesia for those 42 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs, and enjoyed playing tennis.

Survivors include: Wife of 58 years, Dawn Daley; 3 Children, Jim Daley, Jr., Hiram, GA, Mark (Carri) Daley, Hiram, GA and Rebekah (John) Ashworth, Hiram, GA; Sister, Joan Sloan, Tucker, GA; 5 Grandchildren, Tamara, Elizabeth, William, Tiffany and J.D.; 8 Great Grandchildren, Blake, Zane, Abbey, Declan, Riley, Hunter, Charlie and Rachel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James Daley's memory to the Calvary Children's Home @ www.calvarykids.org .
