Irene Vanita Morgan

Irene Vanita Morgan, 92, of Kennesaw, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Dennis McCoy and Rev. Steve McEntyre officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park. Born in Woodstock, Mrs. Morgan lived most of her life in Cobb County. She was a member of Cheatham Hill Baptist Church and was a formerly employed with Bell Bomber Plant and Sonoco Products where she worked as an assembly line worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Morgan and sons, George William Morgan and Jimmy Charles Morgan. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Morgan Sullivan and husband, Charles; daughter-in-law, Vickie Morgan; grandchildren, Donna Sullivan Harris, Ricky Charles Sullivan, Ronnie Howard Sullivan, Tiffany Sullivan Stevens, David William Morgan, Holly Morgan, Jimmy Charles Morgan, II, Angie Morgan, Chris Morgan and Tonia Morgan; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday evenings from 4pm-8pm.
