Howard Hopkins

Howard E. Hopkins, age 82, of Marietta, Georgia passed away December 22, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Harold Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Hopkins, son Danny Joe Carter, and brother Douglas Hopkins.

Howard was a native and lifelong resident of Marietta, GA. He retired from CSX Railroad as an engineer. He loved fishing, traveling and spending time with family.

Survivors include: daughter: Tracie Mack of Dallas, GA; son: Bobby Carter of Dallas, GA; two brothers: Morris (Gale) Hopkins and Larry (Sue) Hopkins; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
