Hemalathadevi Venkatarayappa Tarikere

Dr. Hemalathadevi V. Tarikere passed on May 4, 2022 at her home in Powder Springs, Georgia. She was the second child of Lakshmama Muniappa and T.S. Venkatrayappa. She grew up in police quarters in many parts of Karnataka, India. She entered Bangalore Medical College and graduated with her MBBS Degree in 1969. She passed EFCMG and FLEX exams and emigrated to the United States in 1972. She worked in Baltimore, Atlanta, New York, Augusta, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Buffalo. She retired in 2017 and moved to Powder Springs. She is survived by her 2 younger brothers and her son and their families.
